We’re Feeling Blue This Summer
The sun's out, the birds are chirping and everyone's wearing blue. Honestly, just look around. Is blue a groundbreaking colour? Not exactly. But it is timeless - and this season, it's back in more shades than you can count. French, cobalt, navy, bright - there's a blue for every taste, and something across every category too.
So if you're in the middle of piecing together your summer wardrobe and looking to inject some colour, here are nine pieces guaranteed to blue your mind. Doesn't quite land, but here we are.
Bold and detailed in equal measure. The corded lace Didcot is covered in delicate detailing from top to bottom, with a winding floral pattern that runs all the way through. Set to become the best short-sleeve shirt in your wardrobe.
A graphic that sums up the summer. The punchy blue is the perfect base for the bespoke Wax Sailing Club print. Screen-printed for a soft, lived-in finish that only gets better the more wear you give it.
A crochet knit should be on everyone's summer list - and this Porto's one of the best. Tightly woven in a blue and white checkerboard pattern, it features doodle embroidery throughout. Easily one of the best knits we've made.
Cut slightly shorter in the body, the Curzon is packed with subtle detailing. Throughout the shirt you'll find fil coupé weaving technique, creating a textured jacquard pattern, finished with appliqué detailing - all in a rich, deep blue.
100% linen, 100% necessary. The Dartford long-sleeve shirt arrives in a cobalt blue that was made for the sunniest of spots - but honestly, it doesn't much care where you wear it. Beach, bar, or beyond. It travels well.
One for the smarter occasions summer throws at you. The Naples fills the spot of the classic knitted polo every guy needs in his wardrobe - but better. It features subtle depth from a mini geometric pattern, created with tonal shades of ecru and, you guessed it, light blue yarns.
With the World Cup on the horizon, the timing couldn't be better for the Pendal. This retro sports-inspired jersey polo has the softness of a tee and the polish of a polo. Best of both worlds, and an essential addition to your wardrobe.
The Kurt trousers in a petrol blue colourway make for a comfortable alternative to denim. Elasticated waistband, internal drawstring, relaxed fit around the thigh - what more do you need in a solid everyday trouser?
Finishing the list is a summer staple - shorts. But not just any shorts. This cotton-linen blend pair, perfect for the rising temperatures, features a geometric embroidered pattern finished with a chunky stitched outline for added depth and texture.
