Wedding season has rolled around again, and so have the usual suspects. You know the ones - the guests who never miss a beat, showing up right on cue and playing their part to perfection. If nothing else, they’re reliably entertaining and we all secretly love to spot them across the dance floor.
With that, we’re excited to introduce Guest Who - our playful twist on the classic wedding guestlist, featuring each character dressed in Wax’s SS25 linen suiting collection.
He’s enthusiastic - maybe a little too enthusiastic. Sure, he nods politely through the speeches, but mentally he’s already halfway to the bar and halfway through his signature dance-floor worm. The Life of the (After) Party is in it for the long haul - and true to form, he’s the last man standing. He might shed a layer or two by the end of the night, but before he does, he styles out the occasion in the matching linen Fintry blazer and Alp trousers in merlot, the Rove striped cotton-poplin shirt, Pavillion mid-blue linen tie, and S.T. Valentin leather loafers.
He’s charming, polite, and smells faintly of lavender which draws in every nan and great-aunt within a ten-table radius. He’s the designated handbag holder, the go-to arm for a trip to the loo, and the unanimous pick for the first dance once the band starts up. They all want a piece of him - not in that way - but because he’s the kind of man whose manners are second to none and always tops up their prosecco without being asked. Not even juggling Nana’s clutch, shawl, and emergency mints can take the shine off his look - sharp in the matching navy linen Fintry blazer and Alp trousers, the Halcomb striped viscose shirt, Pavillion linen tie, and S.T. Valentin leather deck shoes. What a lovely boy.
He’s barely taken his seat and already has the whole table in stitches. Part dinner guest, part professional sweet-talker, he spins small talk into gold. With a story for every occasion, razor-sharp timing, and that knowing grin, he’s easily the most charming man in the room — and he knows it. You’re secretly hoping the couple hands him the mic, because let’s be honest… his off-the-cuff tales beat Uncle Dave’s five-page epic any day. All eyes are on him — and not just because he’s sporting the matching khaki linen Fintry blazer and Alp trousers, the Didcot fleck stripe short-sleeve shirt, and S.T. Valentin leather loafers. Sorry, groom - turns out it’s his big day now.
