Boots season is here, and there’s no better way to brace for the cold than with a pair that blends craftsmanship and character in equal measure. Of course, to bring our vision to life, we turned to the master shoemakers at Fracap… again.
Last year, we collaborated with the Italian artisans on two boot silhouettes. The partnership was the perfect pick for us - not only for their unmatched attention to detail, but also because their story is so similar to ours. Now it’s time for round two, and this time we’ve got four Wax-exclusive colourways in three styles. Together, we've reimagined their M128 and MA187 silhouettes, as well as two iterations of their classic M60 style - all handcrafted in Italy. Let’s go through the details.
Black Calf Leather M60 Boots
Our first of two takes on the iconic silhouette is handcrafted from a black calf leather and features matte antique silver hardware, a sturdy Monteroni Vibram Vi-Lite outsole and comes with black round laces. The upper line is hand-stitched using traditional needle-and-thread craftsmanship.
Arancio Calf Leather M60 Boots
The second includes all the same details as the first: matte antique silver hardware, a robust Vibram Vi-Lite outsole, this time in beige, the Wax logo embossed calf leather insole and a hand-stitched line in the upper. This one comes in the brand’s Arancio colour - a golden orange brown that will age beautifully.
Brown Pebbled Calf Leather M128 Boots
The M128’s are icons in the Fracap line up for a reason. Our version comes in a beautiful brown pebbled calf leather with complimentary matte antique brass hardware. It’s finished with a durable commando Vibram Vi-Lite outsole, a zig-zag natural calf leather handstitched guardolo and a Wax logo embossed calf leather insole.
Brown Grained Calf Leather MA187 Shoe
Defined by their low profile, the Wax take on the MA187 silhouette is Our take is made from a brown calf leather, with a brown calf suede upper and leather lining, and feature matte antique brass hardware, and a commando Vibram Vi-Lite outsole with a Wax logo embossed calf leather insole.
