The Wax signature piece. The pike check Whiting has become a staple for us over the last few seasons. The check mixes orange, navy and yellow yarns to create an effortlessly wearable overshirt. This fabric is made sustainably by a family-run French mill using recycled cotton and features environmentally-friendly Corozo nut buttons and front patch pockets. Is it a shirt? Is it a mid-layer? Is it a jacket? It's all of those things and much, much more.

Heavyweight luxury. Robustly colourful. Like the seat coverings on a vividly sumptuous, turn of the century, transcontinental express train, decided they wanted more out of life and so escaped their upholstery shackles to shine exuberantly on the fashion catwalk of life. Definitely one of my better, and most memorable clothing choices.

True to size.
Recommanded size was XS for fitted, S for slightly lose at chest.
Picked up S cause I'm a woman and need some stocking space and plan to wear big sweater.
Colour and quality is great.
Fabric looks very fragile, handle with care. Don't let your cat around it.

I am genuinely shocked at the quality and fit of this jacket, after only seeing the adverts on instagram I was sceptical but loved the look of it, it’s even better in person, I haven’t taken it off since I bought it. Amazing!!

Lovely looking piece, warm and striking, and a good fit. BUT, it’s almost impossible to wear. What the online description DOESN’T make clear is the loose weave of the fabric. I have worn mine three times around the house and had three thread pulls. Incredibly disappointing; save your money

Love the color scheme. The materials are high quality/well constructed. I do prefer a boxier look, though, and this is a bit narrow in the shoulders and through the torso. I purchased a medium and am 5'9" 155lbs. Would suggest sizing up, especially if you plan on wearing a hoody or sweater underneath.
